We are pleased to advise, that at the moment, Audis in the Park (AITP) is planned to go ahead later this year. Clearly this is subject to change, but it is an outdoor event where social distancing can be maintained, so we will keep our fingers crossed

This is an event that A2OC have been attending from the beginning and we have had 30 cars there before.

Advance tickets are now on sale from https://audisinthepark.co.uk/ (please remember to select A2OC, from the 'Club' list) They are £15 per person (under 16s go free). They will increase to £20 on the gate and if there are still restrictions it may become ticket in advance only. It is likely to be popular due to pent up demand to go to car events. If you do buy tickets and it is cancelled, your tickets will roll over to next year, or be refunded.

It is held in Deene Park, near Corby, and for those who would like to stay over the night before (Saturday 7th August), several of us normally stay at the Holiday Inn. Corby (Kettering) https://www.hicorby.com/ EDIT- this hotel is now booked up. The Hilton Hampton Corby is close by, or the Holiday Inn Express Kettering isn't too far away either

We normally meet at the hotel (Holiday Inn) in the morning, around 8am and then convoy into the event.

I will put some more information up nearer the time, but wanted to let people have the details so they can get booked up (I have also added an RSVP so we can keep track of numbers coming)

It is if they are all over 16 I'm afraid. They did used to do it per car, but then had feedback that quite a few people were on their own

This sounds like a good reason to have a few beers

£60 or £80 for 4 people in one car!

yes well it was £10 per car at first even with 4 people in it...mmmmmmm

Done and dealt, The Holiday Inn mob are a bit trying, and it's eye wateringly expensive, I thought.
Simon, it'll be good to see you again there. Don't forget to register in the RSVP section at the top of this thread so we can keep a tab on numbers - might be important in the (hopefully) post-pandemic climate.

This is my type of get together, will be our first time with the club so look forward to it, always a good excuse for a weekend away.

EDIT:-Tickets paid, hotel booked so all set, sadly the Holiday Inn is already fully booked so booked in at the Holiday Inn Express, not fussed as its a weekend away for me and the mrs and we can bring our dog as the express allow small pets for an extra £10 ?

That's interesting with the Holiday Inn as I'm 99% sure I booked, but the app has no upcoming stays.
The reason I'm certain is that I remembered checking the reservation email, but I can't find that now ? So I may well be at the HI Express too.
I don't know if any others who have booked into the HI can check their booking still shows please?
EDIT - Usder error on the HI booking. Have now booked at the Hilton Hampton as it is close to the HI

can you give me some pointers on accommodation thats in the area please

Just cancelled my reservation at the holiday inn express and booked in at the Hilton hampton, saved £12 as the HI was £76 and the Hilton is £64, thanks @Teresa I do love saving money, more to spend on the A2?

Just to let everyone know that the last date to buy advance tickets for AITP is 8th July. After that, it will be £20 per adult on the gate.
As well as being cheaper, buying an advance ticket means earlier access to the site so you can convey in with us (dont worry if you aren't an early bird though - we will save you a spot and help you find the club stand when you arrive)

This show has really settled into it's new home and is a great day with fab cars and music in a beautiful setting

Thanks T. I currently have no headlining, no rear seats and lots of trim missing. I'm doubtful for this one as things stand, unless I'm rocking the eco A2, stripped out to save weight. :)
