Audis in the park 8 august 13-14 2016

A big thank you from me, Diane, Kayleigh and Kieran. Heartfelt gratitude to Mike and Yvonne for their excellent event co-ordination and to each of our A2OC family who always succeed in making us feel so very welcome. Diane and I are also especially humbled by the love and kindness shown to both Kayleigh and Kieran. It is no exaggeration to say that we are sincerely overwhelmed by the generosity and engagement shown; thank you all for your extended kindness. Both children have taken you to their hearts too and love you all.

In addition, it was lovely to meet some new faces, old friends for the first time and catch up with the regulars. Inspiring to see our German colleagues and lovely to talk with them; although saddened by the accident - grateful that no-one was seriously hurt.

I must add that Darren your cobalt blue A2 FSI looks factory fresh- I'm sure there are a few of the A2oc are much fitter after playing "it" for several hours.
I think our clubs social scene must be one of the most divers of all the clubs with its age range and modified/standard/oem + spec cars. Cheers for your kind words Darren
 
I hope everyone got home safely yesterday. We did actually accidentally manage a two car convoy as far as Cambridge on our way back to Norfolk.

A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising it and thanks so much to everyone for making me feel so welcome. It was a really lovely weekend and it was fab to meet everyone. As my 50th is now less than 2 years away, I really liked the fact that people kept referring to me as a new 'young lady'! :D

I look forward to seeing you all again at the next one. Love and Hugs T

We Actually stopped not far after Cambridge to grab some food although think id lost you before in the que as i kept in the outer lane for a fair way and only nipped in just before the thetford exit ;)

Many thanks for a fantastic weekend. :)

Really enjoyed coming on both the Saturday and Sunday, the club looked great and there were some fantastic cars. Mike and Yvonne have done a great job of organising A2OC's part of the event, as always. I'll post a few photographs soon. :p

Your Tdi is looking great there Matt. The new paintwork has done wonders. Looks like you've also been veey busy with the Polish too :)
 
Just to echo everyone else's comments, another superb social organised by Mike and Vonnie!
Great to meet new members and old ones once again, and a really good turnout, would really be nice if we could take AITP 9 by storm next year and surprise the other clubs with a massive presence of our great little cars!
I'll add a few of my photos in a while, but for now thanks to all involved making it a great weekend

Yes Jeff.

I think we can aim to do that. We can make sure that we have a real "club feel" to the stand too.

I am sure that if we keep everyone aware that we will be doing that we can get a great turnout and we can try a bit of a display perhaps. I think we need to give Mike (A2Sumo) and Vonnie our full support.
If we make it clear that we are doing this it gives our longer journey members a chance to arrange things too.

I think we should reinstate the A2OC awards for that one too.

But lets do it !!!!! Let's go for it !!!!
