I've just sold my 70,000 mile A2 TDI to another forum member - Russell Bridge, a very nice chap as are most A2 forum members.
This last one was my fourth and possibly my most favourite one of the lot, a lovely black Sport TDI 75 with OpenSky, retrofitted cruise control and Dension iPod link too.
It had also been Stealth'ed by Vince whilst he was fettling it earlier this year, it's been an absolute peach!
I think these later TDI 75's strike a perfect balance between power & economy allied to what I find to be a sweeter running engine compared to the TDI 90's.
Having been bitten by the A2 bug I would like to try an FSI at some point, I know the engines have a much maligned reputation but a good one, I'm told, is a nice car to hustle along.
I shall amble along in my first non-VAG car (Clio 182 Cup) for a short time, the build quality is woeful and its ergonomics are a bit quirky but it has bags of character...
I look forward to catching up with some of you at ADI and maybe even a social or two.
