Back in the fold!

After parting with my faithful 1.4 tdi SE of 7 years in late 2013 I've recently been looking for something cheap, classy, reliable and economical again to replace my 2009 Mercedes CLS which was starting to cost too much money!

No brainier really isn't it?

So today I've bought what appears to be a lovely grey 2002 '52 tdi SE with 76,000 miles on the clock. Probably paid too much for it but it is a really nice example inside and out apart from the usual button wear mainly on the Concert stereo all appeared well on the 130 mile drive back home.

Looking forward to improving certain aspects of the car and will be drawing heavily from the wealth of knowledge and experience on the forum!

Let's see some pictures, think i saw this on Autotrader by the description. Sounds just like ours, bought to replace my company Lexus when the lease finishes, I had a CLS on my wish list at one time but the potential hidden costs with areas such as the suspension put me off.

Hi Rich, as soon as I can get some taken I'll post a couple of pics.
As for the CLS it's a fantastic car but has had a couple of issues in the last year which I don't feel a 62k mile Mercedes with FMBSH should have suffered and I don't need something as big to commute 9 miles to work and back.
Scary how little the Merc is worth though.......!:(
