Back Tyres Not Spinning - Audi A2 1.4 TDI SE 2002

Hi Guys,

Jacked up our A2 and the Rear Tyres don't spin freely, are they meant to?

You should feel the brake shoes just touching.
If you need to use some force to spin them then, they might need adjusting /handbrake cable / or hand brake lever in the drums seized .
 
The answer is yes and all the problems are listed above.

Worth checking the hand brake was fully released though. Made that mistake myself in the past. I think from memory it can tighten just a fraction as the car is lifted and the rear beam drops.
