Bags of Power but...

Had remap done by local Audi independent yesterday. Disappointed with outcome because the car seems to have lost its personality. Nippiness gone and quite flat in 1st and 2nd even 3rd but when you floor the accelerator enormous power boost. Not sure if I like the change - seems too much of a sacrifice for the extra power, which comes into its own on motorways, but town driving would be a nightmare. Anyone experienced similar and should i have old map reinstated? Thanks in advance for your views.

This doesn't sound right to me. My car was re-mapped by Vince at Stealth and the extra power was available throughout the rev range.

I'd take it back and get them to to it again.

This doesnt sound right to me. Sounds like they just chased outright peak power rather than giving you all round drivability which is what you want. Who did the map and how did they do it? My Revo map is not at all like that its much more pull throughout the entire rev range and pulls strongly to the red line. Much more rewarding to drive take it back and get them to do it again or get a refund and take it somewhere else like a Revo franchise or Stealth...
