Hi to all, I wonder if there is anyone who can help with a problem that has come to light after all this lockdown milarky, my battery was run flat, I have disconnected it and trickle charged it over a few days, but on reconnecting the alarm goes off with the lights flashing and I can't seem to stop it with the key fob. I have to disconnect the battery again. Any ideas how to sort this. it was fine before the flat battery oh btw the car is an A2 1.4 tdi 2005
cheers John

Have you tried turning the key in the ignition? The remotes have gone out of sync to the alarm and will need resetting. Replace the batteries in the fobs first with brand new fresh batteries.. There does appear to be a few different ways individual cars resync. Try with the car locked and only one key on you , unlocking the DRIVERS DOOR LOCK with the key, open the door and immediately turn the key to warning lights and press the unlock button on the remote. Remove key get out the car shut the door and try the remote. If now works repeat the process with only the next key on you. If this does not resync search on here for the other methods to resync the keys, you may have to try a few before they work.

Thanks for getting back Audifan I was actually talking about the main 12volt supply battery in the boot that had run flat but I will try changing the fob battery as well I did try the key in the ignition but it seemed to have no effect just the alarm sounding. I will attempt to resync it as you suggest cheers
