Battery

Looking to buy a new battery for my 1.4tdi, currently fitted with a Varta 80Ah, where would be the best place to get a replacement?
Halfords have a Bosch 77Ah for £110 would this do the job?

PM me - if you can get over to me on the other side of Manchester, I can get you a bigger capacity one for around £30 less - I'll be fitting one myself soon, as these cold mornings have been showing that the factory original one is coming to the end of its life.

Thanks Mike, only just seen your reply..i managed to get one yesterday from my local dealer, it's an Oldham 80Ah and 740cca, (£92) he said it was better than the varta which was on. He did check my battery and said it was ok but the green indicator had started to turn black (didn't know it had an indicator on a battery).
