I thought I'd move the list to the very start of the thread for easier viewing.

Here's the list which will be updated periodically to show you the I have captured your interest. I'll revise the list over the next few days to ensure its fit for purpose but this will do as a starter for 10.

As you've come to understand from pervious dealings, this Group Order is of course yet another zero profit venture. I'll be paying exactly the same for my mats that you are for yours. My time working in the background for you is free of charge, a way of giving back to the community I enjoy and serve.

Morning all,

The list has just been updated and the PMs will start to be transmitted to you all this evening. There is a 3 minute wait for each new PM so it'll take a couple of hours before all individual messages are sent, but you'll have it in you inbox before I retire for the evening.

The closure of obtaining these mats at the 35% discounted rate is getting very close. Speak uo now if you desire a nice new set of carpet mats that boast the Clubs logo.

Evening all,

Ive just updated the list at Post #1 and also the pricing at Post #3. Have a look through Post #3 to see my workings out as the cost has gone up a few pence due to us going over 30 sets to be delivered to 38 which is just awesome in many respects. Also the EVRi (the new Hermes) delivery has risen by £0.06. Additionally the original plastic shipping bags I proposed to use are just too small so have had to go up a size which brings a light increase in shipping. Its only pennies and is all explained.

The original cost delivered to you was:
£59.80
£62.80 (with contrasting edging trim)

The updated cost delivered to you is:

£60.22
£63.22 (with contrasting edging trim)

Most of you will feel this price increase insignificant but thought it best to explain to remind you all that this is still a zero profit venture for me and I'll be paying exactly the same as you for my mats. No financial gain will be made from this venture, if there is a few pence or pounds somehow left over (shouldn't be as I've worked this out to the penny) then they will be put back into the club via a Donation.

To save further pricing amendments, the registration to join in on this venture is now closed. these mats with all the possible options available here are still obtainable from Simply Car Mats but at the RRP. I'll see if we can continue with our 10% discount which Dan agreed upon some months ago.

Individual PMs will start to be transmitted to all involved in the next few hours once I've settled the next A2 Owners generation down for the evening.

Evening (morning?) all,

Everyone involved within this group order has now had their tailored PM sent with payment instructions and delivery address requests. It took a while to get all the PMs sent with having to wait 180 seconds between each message but all complete now. Bed is calling!

The list has been updated with a few additional columns which you'll see at Post 1.

For anyone else reading this who might want to join in.... Unfortunately the registration list to obtain the 35% discounted rate is now closed. The mats will soon be available direct from Simply Car Mats but only at a discount of 10%.

Thanks to all those who have shown interest, to those who have contributed and also to those who helped out in the background along the way, really is appreciated as this venture was bigger than just one persons opinion. We really do have an amazing Club with some brilliant people across its membership.

Afternoon all,

Just been chatting with Dan at Simply Car Mats and he confirms that anyone wishing to purchase mats from them that they will continue to offer 10% discount for Club members.

Also during the conversation he mentioned that the cost of the materials they use is increasing in price due to the situation in Europe. The positive thing for us is that we are still fortunately obtaining this group order at the agreed price as listed since the very beginning back in January. This is very kind of the company as this has taken some months to finally get to where we are now.

Future pricing will of course be more expensive but the 10% should help out.

Thank you to everyone who have responded to the PMs I started to send out a couple of days ago. I'm well over half way to obtaining the funds to finally submit the order. Both Dan and I havre been in conversation regards the order and timelines which I'll be able to provide once the order is in.

Morning all,

A few more payments have trickled in over the weekend which I'm truly grateful for, I’m getting so close to submitting the order.

30 Sets have now been paid for which means we will certainly be proceeding at the suggested 35% discount, awesome!

With only 4 sets requiring payment, I really need the unpaid members to confirm if they're wishing to continue with this venture. There's absolutely no issue if members are no longer interested, I fully accept that we change our mind and that this venture has been going on a while now, but would rather be informed instead of cancelling any interest, followed by members coming back with a yes after the order has been submitted without including their mats.

The following members have been in touch but yet to pay: @trevorswaine

If no response is received by 13:00 Friday 10th June then their interest will be cancelled and mats not included when the order is submitted.

The following members have not been online since proceeding this venture to payment PMs: @V666col, @Dalibu, @jaffa_jim.

If anyone out there knows any of the above members on another website or even has their personal contact details, could you please assist by contacting them and ask them to check their A2OC PM inbox. If I’ve not heard from them by 13:00 Friday 10th June then I will be forced to cancel their interest and submit the order without including their mats.

I hope this seems like a fair timeline as I’d rather not hold up the order for members either not responding or not been online against the members who have paid so quickly.

Morning all,

To be as helpful as possible to the last few members to pay for their mats I have decided to extend the payment cut off from Friday lunchtime to Sunday evening, giving an additional weekend to login and action the information contained within the multiple PMs sent.

This shouldn’t cause too much of a delay as Simply Car Mats probably wouldn’t start producing our items until Monday anyway.

If anyone has any contact details for the following members then please could you assist by asking them to check their A2OC inbox:

I do hope they’re all ok and respond before Sunday’s cut off. Anyone who has not paid by Sunday lunchtime will have their interest withdrawn and their mats will not be included in the order that is subsequently submitted.

Afternoon all,

I can confirm that all payments are in so the order will be submitted this evening or tomorrow morning. The next thing from me will be adding posts to the PMs between you all, sharing the EVRi tracking information. I'll continue to to add snippets of information whilst the order is being processed and when delivery to me is expected etcetera.

If time permits, I'll also add a couple of pictures of the mats with the sample embroidered swatches I have here to show how these will look once they arrive. This will probably be tomorrow as I now have a busy day ahead of me preparing for a 9 year olds birthday party.

Afternoon all,

That's all payments received for the 39 sets of mats on the list. Room for just 1 more set which sits with Nick @NickMellis if he is able to respond quick enough. I'll compose the email to Simply Car Mats this evening and have it in Dans inbox tomorrow morning.

There will of course be a 2 week(ish) pause whilst our mats are cut and trimmed to our individual requirements.
