Bespoke Branded Footwell Mats Group Order

I thought I'd move the list to the very start of the thread for easier viewing.

Here's the list below which will be updated periodically to show you the I have captured your interest. I'll revise the list over the next few days to ensure its fit for purpose but this should suffice for now:

As you've come to understand from pervious dealings, this Group Order is of course yet another zero profit venture. I'll be paying exactly the same for my mats that you are for yours. My time working in the background for you is free of charge, a way of giving back to the community I both enjoy and serve.

Afternoon all,

Hope you’re all well and apologies for not providing any updates since receiving your payments. I’ve been extremely busy with work and not had my usual online presence. So far though, I have no news from Dan - no news is good news!

Whilst his team continue to produce the 39 sets of mats from the list along with the embroidery team continue producing the swatches, I thought I’d show where the embroidered logo swatches will be place on the mats.

The swatches will be trimmed to approximately 150mm x 70mm:

The left hand edge will be 160mm from the rear leading edge of the mats:

Also the bottom of the swatch will be 10mm away from the edging trim of your choice:

The swatches will of course be machine stitched on, the above pictures are just from the samples placed onto a set of SCM mats I have here at 2work Towers.

Afternoon all,

The first batch (only 3x sets) have been sent from Simply Car Mats and have arrived here at 2work Towers.

I’ll have these re-packaged up this evening and forwarded onto their recipient vehicle owners.

Dan is unable to inform me of what’s being sent next and when but he’s not far off sending me all the tracking numbers for the remainder which I can follow on the Yodel network once the collection has taken place. We are now in the hands of the quality control and dispatch teams.

Super excited to have a nice new set of mats in both OEM and 250. The thickness and quality of the Super Deluxe look and feel terrific. From what I can see, they are a little thicker than the factory set I have here.

I’ll continue with the PMs that I have going with you all to let you know your EVRi tracking number as and when your mats arrive and are subsequently sent.

Afternoon all,

I now have all tracking numbers for our mats which I will follow on the Yodel website. The only mats that have been dispatched and received so far are those that don't sport the embroidered Club logo. The Super Deluxe option really are a nice mat and I'm positive you'll all be very satisfied with what you have paid for.

You all know I love inundating you with a list so I have updated the initial one back at Post #1.

Very excited now.

Evening all,

After sending the first 2 sets of mats I have noticed that Hermes/EVRi have continued to increase their prices. This is of course very unsettling to a group order that has been worked to the nearest penny with no profit to absorb any unforeseen pricing alterations.

When I last updated Post #3 on 31 May 22 with the onward deliver prices it went to £5.86for a 2-4 day tracked service. This has fortunately not risen. What has risen though is the insurance option. It’s gone from £1.32 to £2.00, this an additional £0.68 which would seem negligible if I was selling something as I could just swallow it up in whatever profit I might possibly be making on the item.

As you know this is not how I deal with group orders where you pay exactly what I pay and there is no margin of profit at all. Therefore over the 38 sets of mats the mere 68p adds up.

Please do expect a PM to ask for the additional 68p via friends and family. I guess it was only a matter of time before courier services was going to increase whereby they add the rising fuel costs to their customers, plus the rebranding from Hermes to EVRi wouldn’t have been FOC.

Fingers crossed there’s no further pricing alterations before the final set of mats are delivered to me.

I’ll not bother you with the additional PM this evening and will wait until the weekend. For now I’ll cover the additional costs out of my own pocket.

Just sent 68p via paypal.
Hello Justin,

Just seen the PayPal email come through. Thank you so much. Ian watching all the tracking numbers of our mats to guess a delivery date. So far they are all showing as with the sender but shouldn’t be for much longer.

Thank you for your patience on this one, it’s not been as quick as the footrest group order has it.

That makes perfect sense and is why I’ve not sent any additional funds requests just yet. Fingers crossed that this is the final adjustment.
