Bespoke Branded Footwell Mats Group Order

Hello all,

I thought I'd move the list to the very start of the thread for easier viewing.

Here's the list below which will be updated periodically to show you the I have captured your interest. I'll revise the list over the next few days to ensure its fit for purpose but this should suffice for now:

As you've come to understand from pervious dealings, this Group Order is of course yet another zero profit venture. I'll be paying exactly the same for my mats that you are for yours. My time working in the background for you is free of charge, a way of giving back to the community I both enjoy and serve.

Can you please confirm that you're still wishing to be part of this group order, absolutely no problem if you have since changed your mind as this has of course been going on for a while now. I just need to understand how short I might be from securing the grand total of 30 for the 35% discount.

A reply to this thread with a thumbs up or a simple like to this post would would be all that is needed I think.

Im certain that these will be fitted into our footwells before April closes.

Afternoon all,

I've had a chat with Dan at Simply Car Mats and he informs me that they're ready to go with the RHD A2 mats. The only thing stopping me sending the payment request PM out to you all is the embroidered logo. Their embroidery manager is away this week so I'm not expecting to have a sample here until the end of next week. Once it arrives and is as requested then the PMs will be sent out.

The PMs have all been individually tailored as each members request differs slightly and are ready to be transmitted to you all. All going well you should have them arrive at your inbox at the end of next week.

As this isn't a cheap venture I am unable to commit any personal funds to it and can only submit the order once I've received all payments, I'm sure you can appreciate this.

I'm getting close to having something to show for the last 171 posts, but please wait that little bit longer.

For transparency, whilst on the phone to Dan, he mentioned that they are currently applying a temporary discount to all their offerings. Having just looked myself it seems that the Super Deluxe which was £50 is now only £45 but this is just for singular purchases only and the 35% discount we're receiving can only be applied to the original price of £50. Hope that clears up any confusion before someone notices the recent price change on their website.

Once this venture is complete I'll be after some inspirational ideas that I could investigate for us all!

Morning all,

I acknowledge all who have recently responded to my earlier post and have since added an additional column to the list showing that you're still interested. Thank you so much.

To ensure we're all set to commence with order submission (fingers crossed) next week I'm still trying to gauge this interest of the following members:

@nolan, @ibesiano, @V666col, @MikeMiles, @oldcroft

As the above list totals a third towards the quantity to receive the 35% discount we wouldn't be able to submit the order until we reach the minimum total of 30 sets. There is no problem if anyone is no longer after a set of mats as I fully understand that this has been running since the new year. The venture will still happen but may need to wait for others to join the list. Could you please let me know with either a thumbs up, respond to the thread or send me a PM.

Would it be possible to get a LHD set delivered to Finland, or would that be very expensive?

It would cost a little more than £40 to ship them to Finland unfortunately. I would have ordered them as well but all expenses added the cost would probably be about £100 so 120€...

As @RantA2 suggests, the postage to Finland makes this very expensive. I’ve looked into cost savings solutions but yet to find anything under £40.

There is a possible solution here though by your good self purchasing a LHD mat set of your choice, possibly from Germany as I understand that there isn’t many suppliers in Finland. From there I should be able obtain the embroidered club logo swatches which can be sent to you for self sewing onto your own mats.

The embroidered logo swatches are £10 each and you would be needing 2. This should be a much cheaper option for you which I’m more than happy to investigate further.
