Spotted today as I dropped my Touran off at Volkscraft- if the owner is on here, do you use VC for A2 repairs and maintenance? If so then I’ll use them for mine too!

tldr: yes, it's red.

I think I've said this before but I had a pug 405 saloon on a J Reg, that cars paint was every bit as good 3 years after I bought it second hand and it must have been 10 years old by then. Postbox red and it always waxed up like a new car.
Then again I had a golf MK 3 and that turned pink on the roof and bonnet but no laquer peel.
