Hi All
I took the plunge and purchased a koni fsd kit from potn for £395.99. With the additional purchase of front top mounts/bearings/ front/rear damper protection kit and front arb link's i thought everyting would be OK. After taking almost 3 hours fitting the rears(nice place to put top mounts) i then started to tackle the fronts.
After removing the passenger side complete i then saw why the handling of my A2 was a bit suspect? A snapped spring about half a coil up from the base of the shocker. After many phone calls trying to source a pair of standard front springs, prices varying from £36.95>£48.39 and that's each+vat? I then decided to opt for APEX sport's springs -25mm drop having been qouted £88.41inc vat+delivery from car performance in Gloucester for a set of 4! These are now on order and hopefully will be here by friday so that i can complete car over weekend.
