Black VIN and tyre pressure label

Hi all.
Just looking for a pointer and confirmation......

Is there a label somewhere (usually black) showing the VIn number and tyre pressures etc.
It is usually on the drivers or passenger door pillar.
I have looked everywhere, including the service flap, and I don't have such a label, so am wondering where it is on an A2.

Is mine missing?
Thanks
Matt

The VIN is on the dashboard nearside, a little window in the black section of the windscreen under the wiper allows you to see it. Tyre pressures might be inside the fuel filler flap I think, but 33 front 30 rear should see you right.

Thanks Ian Fiona (have only just read your post. I thought perhaps you had bought your final A2 and named her Fiona, but I knew you probably have another one or two more to possess over the next 30 years or so, so the name change now makes more sense!!!!

I have no label in the fuel filler, so it must have gone astray from wherever it was supposed to be. VIN is in the windscreen, and everywhere else on the body, so no issues with that particular number (and they all match, thankfully!).

I have changed to 15inch wheels, and some 175/60 Yokohama's (not new), and the ride is still hard (and now noisier with the Yokohamas!), so was looking for a pressure label. Tyres are at 32psi, so don't think they are too hard.

Better than 16", but not as greater difference as I was hoping for.......

I have new B4's and springs on the front, so it's not that.

You should have a noticeable difference - How old are the tyres exactly? The fact that they are noticeably noisy suggests they are not the best.

I have Michelins in 185/60/15 on Pepperpots and the ride is still firm but pretty supple. When replacing them you could go up to 175/65/15 if you can get what you want in that size, you'll find an improvement in both ride comfort and speedo accuracy. There are some excellent all-season options in that size too.

A lot of tyres these days have XL alongside the load rating, for which the sidewalls are made harder. If you can get them, the A2 really needs tyres without.

They are 2020, and are in v good condition (good tread etc). Yokohama BluEarth-Es ES32
I'm almost thinking wheel bearing, but got a clean MOT on Friday.

Maybe there is something with the new wheels and tyres that just makes more noise than my dodgy (but new) Vietnamese no-names I had on the SE 16" wheels.

I am certainly thinking about a set of Winter tyres, with as high a profile I can fit.
