bloody engine management light, intermitent cam tensioner fault

ive a 2002 1.4 petrol
4 months ago when i got the car it had done 44,000 miles weve now done an extra 4,000 miles in four months and ive had to replace a front spring the cat then went now the engine management light has come on. my local mechanic checked the fault codes and its come back as intermitent cam tensioner fault. it was to late to contact audi so i thought id check here if anyone has had the same issue.
car runs great but this light bothers me

It would help if you can get the actual fault codes as I'm not sure how a cam tensioner fault will flash up a engine management light

yes ur right spike my mechanic only live 2 doors down ill ask him again what it came up with and get back to you.
