Bonnet Alignment

Hi All.

I have just noticed that the front left-hand "corner" of my bonnet doesn't quite align with the "corner" of the wing. The right hand side does. The wing is obviously in the correct place, so is there a way of re-aligning the bonnet somehow?

Also, what is the best kind of lubrication to use for the cam-lock pins that actually hold the bonnet on? Grease of some sort I guess?

Cheers,

i have the same problem with mine. Bonnet seems uneven leaving a gap beside the headlight rubber seal on one side. Where exactly are the adjustment screws. Any pics?

Hi Kev
From memory the adjusters are more like a rubber bung with a spiral groove moulded in. As Erstens indicated they are located on each side of the panel above the front grill. (each corner of the leading edge of the bonnet rests on them) Turn the bungs clockwise or anticlockwise to lower or raise the corners of the bonnet

Update
Well the memory was wrong (right description - but for my wife's Terios)

On the A2 the adjusters are on the underside (obviously) of the bonnet and look like large plastic bolt heads. Just screw them in or out to fine tune the bonnet height relative to the wings

thanks spike. I was looking for something on the bulkhead and not the bonnet. No wonder I couldn't see them.
