Boot Not Opening :(

Hi all!

I have a problem with the boot...! I have tried to open it but all i can hear is the motor working but nor releasing the lock :(

I have tried everything, opening it from the remote, opening using the electronic button on the boot handle.... nothing..

motor works, but there is no actual release. cany anyone help!

There is a manual release - It's well hidden and I only found it when removing the tailgate trim pannel to work on the boot light switch. Having said that, it is also covered in the owners handbook, but who looks in that.
Close to the bottom edge of the rear window there is a small plastic cover. Gently prise this out and give it a good tug. It's attached to a cord which manually releases the lock.
