Bose box system

Hi Guys,

we decided to go all out in our new A2; and got Bose speakers.
They are great...the sound is something else. BUT: when the ignition is on ( but no radio) you can hear the speakers in the back. Can anyone tell us if this is normal? Our dealer doesn't seeem to know.

it doesn't sound normal to me, I've got the Bose system and have never experienced anything like you describe. Like you, I think the sound is really good, especially when you turn up the volume on an opera cd.

I have the BOSE too and have never experienced this either...

can the bose system be added after quite easily? Does anyone know how much it is to get the bose stuff put in? I've currently got the single CD Audi standard unit and four speakers. What does the bose set-up change, is it just speakers and sub? or do you have to change the head unit as well?

I think this question has been asked before and the answer was rather negative. All speakers are different, there is a sub (I think) and an amp. The tools are moved from the boot to under the passenger footwell to make room for Bose equipment. Not sure if there's a DSP included in the Bose setup as well.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.
