Brake Line Replacement

Last MOT I received advisories for the front brake hoses and one of the rear brake lines (offside rear pipe slightly corroded axel pipe).
It looks like replacing the hoses should be reasonably straightforward, but what about lines?
Does anybody have any hints / tips / wisdom on replacing the fixed lines? I'd consider getting more than just the rear on one side replaced, in case more become corroded. I'm not sure at what point this job becomes complicated for an incompetent home mechanic to do in the garage.
Cheers.

Just replace the damaged part. Philward has a thread on this at present, he is using flared compression fittings to join the pipe.

The biggest issue with replacing the entire brake line is re-attaching to the ABS unit in the engine bay. I wouldn't want to faff with this as it's pretty fragile internally and VERY expensive to replace.

The brake lines are easily cut, flared and re-joined, so go down this route. I have a new front nearside brake line in the garage and the way it kinks and bends with lots of 90º angles, I'd not like to fit it!!

I've set up to do this, but have run into a snag. I didn't realise that, as well as the rear hoses which connect to the axle pipe, there is also a flexible bit right at the other end of the pipe that connects to the brake cylinder. I can't figure out how to get a replacement for this bit. Does the part number 8z0 611 764q include this flexible bit at the end? Can I take the whole line off and separate it from the hose, or is it all one inseparable part?
Thanks
