Anyone got any miracle cleaner that makes it easy
to remove all the bugs of the front of the car
dont no if its because the front of the A2 is plastic
but its a pig to get the flys and bugs off.......

Car shampoo as normal but use an open weave cloth or a 'rough' (big, open cell sponge) rather than a small cell one. Do not use an upholstery sponge as it will scratch.'

I soak some yellow polishing cloth things in some water and shampoo and drape over the entire front of car, let soak for ten mins, then remove and clean as normal.
seems to work.[3]
I dont think anything on the market really does the job chemical wise.[2]
cheers

I can't get over the callousness of you lot.

SLOW DOWN!!!!!

If you're driving fast enough for insects to not be able to get out of the way, then you're going too fast. Just think how quick flies are when you wanna swat 'em. Now tell me you're not going too fast.

This could be the single biggest cause of the demise of the house sparrow you know ;o)

WAS : A2 TDI SE 2001 Ebony Black Pearl (The Little Tank!)
NOW : A2 TDi 90 Sport, OpenSky, winter pack, ISOfix, all-round fogs, climate control, all-round electric windows, Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB54, genuine HID xenons and red leather! Not to mention CCC Tech chipping (118bhp), K&N air filter, all round tinting, all-black headlining and retro-fitted cruise control and GALA.(The NEW Tank). Retro-fit Bose coming soon!!! Now if only I could find a TT 3.2litre engine.........

I think the flies do it just to be perverse - when we want to swat them they love being difficult to hit, when we are driving along at 50 (ish) they love to deliberatly crash into the car so we have to spend time and effort cleaning them off!

1.4 Petrol Special Edition, Ebony Black, grey leather, heated seats, climate, opensky, five spoke alloys for SWMBO (Replaced a 2002 1.4 Petrol SE) Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 iCDTi for me.
