Ive been given a build week for the new A2 just put on order. Week 10 they have told me. Does this relate to the normal calendar weeks ie 2nd week in March?

Also, how long before i can expect to take delivery of the car after this build work?

Oh yeah, IF I remember correctly I had a week 32 build which was the first of a 2003 build and made it out in September.....probably doesn't help you much!

production week 10 always relates to the normal calender week. But before your car arrives in England will be some weeks later. In Holland it`s standard to calculate 2 till 3 weeks extra before the car arrives at the dealer.

For me it should have taken about 2 weeks from build complete date to delivery to me. But that week was Xmas so it took another week to sort it all out - the car (annoyingly) sat on the dealer's forecourt for a week.

They also pulled my build date back a couple of weeks, they originally quoted 10 weeks to build and it came down to 7 (they can't sell enough of 'em to keep the line busy I suppose) so worth asking your dealer in a couple of weeks to check, he should see any changes on his screen

Week one is the week with January 1st in it, Regardless of when Jan 1 is in the week. Today 8th Feb is the end of week 6. Next week is week 7 (strangely enough)[35]
Delivery to the dealer takes from 2 to 4 weeks depending on whether your car copmes off the line when there is an almost full train leaving and there is space on the boat etc.
