Information Cam Belt Changed + A Suberb Garage!

OK, OK, I know this has been discussed a 1000 times - but I just had mine changed at a local garage in Guildford. They specialise in 4x4 but will pretty much take on anything. Got the parts from my local stealer, just over the road in fact, the whole 'kit' and water pump costing £188.16. They fitted it all, plus gave it a quick look over, checked the levels, etc for £140 +vat! And told me that the water pump is service exchange so should get back around £30! No fuss, no hassle, great team.

Well, that's it for me, goodbye Mr Audi and hello Rangers of Guildford. They also score 99.6% on the Good Garage Scheme.

Fiona, Congratulations, good job done at a 'fair price', this is what i keep telling members on this site, find a good INDEPENDENT garage who's fair & stick with them, whenever poss'ible,Alan.
 
dealer not so bad

i had my 51 plate tdi cambelt & water pump done at wayside audi - milton keynes for £328 all inc. car was done in 4 hrs and im as happy as. :)
craig in their parts dept always willing to help and orders parts VOR.
great service, great guys. im staying there.
