Cambelt tools needed?

After finding a couple of prices for cambelt + waterpump work for my TDi (main dealer £649+vat, Indy £426 all in) thought I'd ask, are there any special tools needed to do this? I'd rather spen a morning out in the cold than fork out £300+ for labour!
(Could do with a workshop manual also.. anyone care to share a link via message..??? pleeeeease......)

for workshop manuals, use erwin. It's cheap and effective. https://erwin.audi.com/erwin/showHome.do

as for cambelt tools, yes, there are multiple needed. The big one is the cambelt lock tool. It shouldn't necessarily be expensive, I can't tell you exactly what else is needed, but agian, it's in Erwin....

No, you need that as well to set the tension. Sealey used to sell a kit for PD diesels which had all the required tools and instructions but it appears to be discontinued.

cheers Rab, a bit pricey for me, maybe I'll find a separate wrench.. or a cheap full set!
