Can some help diagnose my problem near bournemouth

Hi Guys,

I have recently prchased an A2 and the emissions light has come on. Does anyone know what this could relate to? The manual just says take it to Audi but I dont need a massive bill for them to tell me something hopefully simple is wrong! What would the main causes of this be and does anyone know of a member or local garage to me that could do a scan without paying the big bucks to Audi?

Ah, same car as me.
Great car and great engine.
There are a few well known faults that crop up on the fsi.
Easiest to fix is the nox sensor, which can fail after 5 years or so. Its about £150 part and if you search on here you you will fine the fault code that indicates this, and also a guide to replace.
More common, paricularly on cars that have been run on 95ron and had lots of short journeys is inlet flaps and throttle bodies getting dirty and siezing. Again lots already written on here if you search.

Sadly I live in Leeds so cant help with a scan. Good luck!
