I disconnected my stereo (Panasonic CQMR555) from my car so I could fix the bent pins stopping the trim plate from connecting to the stereo properly as it kept falling off, when I reconnect it the reception has gone all rubbish, and I can't set anything (time, date) on the unit, stuff like that, and I don’t know how to change it, because the Audi dealer didn’t give me any of the manuals that came with the stereo, so I am in a bit of a pickle as I can't set the time and I don’t know what is going on with the reception, I highly doubt the Audi dealer even received the manual because it seems to of been installed third party (being as its not an Audi head unit). Does anyone know of a solution for the reception problem because I was getting excellent reception from the same unit before Mr Noisy (me) decided to take it out to fix a few things (granted I got an 8-CD changer in the back and listen to it the majority of the time but occasionally I like to listen to the traffic updates). Also does anyone know if there is a site or somewhere I can get a copy of the manual to see or has anyone got the same unit so they could tell me because its kind of bugging me how to set the time, again the unit is called Panasonic CQMR555. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Defo sounds like some of the reception options were lost with the power off. Now any decent Audi dealer would have printed off a manual for you...tut tut on them.

LMAO now this even I didnt believe, the car stereo fixed itself, it regained signal strength, then it retuned the radio to my previous selections, the it set the time to the correct time, lol I didnt even need the manual it done it all by itself, I went out there to sort it out and to my surprise it has done it all itself. This stereo seems better than I previously though.
