It's a gambol, disconnecting the alarm may or may not stop the battery drain, you won't know until you try it, I must admit I am not optimistic but at least you will have no noise.
Alternatively you could try replacing this CCCU thingy first. Dead easy to do but the cost will be about £50.
I wonder which one you have, post a photo. The CCCU lives in the front passenger footwell, lift back the carpet, turn the 1/4 turn toggles on the silver panel and remove the silver panel. You will see similar to this
The CCCU is the big box with the Audi circles and number 8Z0 959 443 E. Take photo and replace silver panel and carpet.
