Thank you Dave I was going to scan in the instructions

Evening Ed,

I’m interested in reading the instructions to see how these are fitted as I am a little precious about my Twist electric window rear door cards.

Kind regards,

Tom

Anyone got the matching OEM rear window roller blind stashed away.

Kind regards,

Tom

I think I’ll leave it Ed looking at the fitting guide it looks like it’s going to be quite intrusive on the door panel.

Perhaps @2work is interested?

Thanks
Steve

@stevec we were only talking about why didn’t Audi make these for the A2 the other day. And it turns out they do and set is for sale.

The A4 ones look a lot better IMO.
But being a bigger car means there's more room to 'hide' things away.

I fitted my Carshades shades today and it was very quick. If you watch their video it looks more complicated than it actually is because all the A2 shades just jam into the trim. The only clips are one for each side window to hold them up when the window is wound down.

Dawg just loves it!

I've had my shades in the white one for over a year now and regarding the split in the middle of the rear ones I don't even notice it now, there is one drawback I've found and it's if you have peeps in the back and they wind the windows down they tend to move and fall in towards the car.

johny,

Do you take them out in winter? I'm just wondering if they're too dark after September?

I also leave mine in all year round as they’re great with my boys in the back.

In the summer they keep the cabin cool before I get in a get the air conditioning on, along with keeping the brightness down for the rear occupants. As the year progresses and the sun is lower they are somethings essential to keep the brightness down on a road trip with my boys in the back.

I also have no issues with the auto dimming interior mirror functioning with the back window shades in either, regardless of the time of year.

They are a great accessory which I’ve had in all our Audi’s for years, first thing I purchase when I get a new car.

Kind regards,

Tom

Just been out to fit my set of Car Shades that I bought in there current sale for £50. First impressions is good quality and the fit in the back windows and hatch is brilliant, not bothered about the join line on the hatch. BUT the little clip that secures the shades to the back door windows is poor. The shade does not want to stay where I want it to and there is a gap where it does not cover the complete window. Any tips on the best way to fit the rear windows so they don't pop out when the glass is down, fit better or where to align them to and best location for the clip much appreciated. Pictures would be great.
