Does anyone have a definitive list of seats which can be fitted in the A2 from other Audi / VW models??

Errrrrrrr. Ok...........

Im pretty sure TT seats will fit and previous posts said S3 seats will to as well as MK4/5 golf.

Thats why I was asking. Easier way to upgrade to leather.
 
There are rumours that the TT/A3/Mk4 Golf platform front seats may fit with major modifications to the runners, but I've not heard/ seen threads where someone's definitely gone and done it. I could be wrong though.

Clearly there is no option for the rears other than A2 seats, and also note that if you have a Bench, you can only fit a Bench, and if you have split rears, you can't fit a Bench either - the floorpan is different.

If you're keen to get it done quickly, a re-trim is the easiest upgrade to leather to be honest. It took me nearly 2 years to get a set of 2nd hand leather seats with a Bench rear as they don't come up very often...
 
Im probably going to get the rears trimmed up and then get some Corbeau front seats, either GTS recliner or Targa, as they look sweet, pop a waeco heated sit kit in them and jobs a gooden.

On the contrary If I can get some S3 seats quite cheap, on ebay there are a few going for £250, full leather good condition with electronic control would try modding them to fit as would save £££
 
Mike (skipton) last year nearly got a set of new shape TT seats but i think it was around the time of his accident. deffinetly something i've looked into as i would like some sport front seats not to bothered about leather

I've been meaning to raise this subject for a while, as I'd also like Sport seats in the front. What methods are there for looking for such things?
I check ebay every now and then for breaking A2s. How do I find out about accident damaged A2s?
I'm after Sport seats with lumbar support and black plastic. I'll give them a re-trim, so am not fussed about the fabric or its condition.

I'd be grateful for any advice,

you raise a question that I never could answer : is the red color of those TT seats the same color as the red of A2 leather seats ?
I'd like to fit that kind of MK1 TT front seats in my A2, but the colour has to be an exact match to the (factory) red leather of my rear seats...
In all the pictures I've seen, the TT seats look more red than A2 ones are (they are burgundy-ish)
These S3 seats look the same colour as mine :

I've been told that MK2 TT seats don't fit, but not 100% sure of that info.

We still don't have a definitive answer to whether TT/Mk4 Golf platform front seats fit - we know there is work required to the runners as a minimum.
 
TT MK2 should do, as spike mentioned before Skipton nearly bought a set to fit, prior to his crash.

Im close to buying some now, black leather with charcoal alcantara, heated, lumbar, MK2 TT

Just measured my seats compared to TT MK2 seats.

The runners on A2 are 48cm from outside edge to outer edge of other

TT Mk2 are 51cm for edge to edge.

How would it be possible to make them fit??
 
sounds like you need another seat subframe from another A2to modify or mod the ones you have and then theres no way back
