Changing the front seat and gear knob

Hi David,

you'll need a set of 12-point spline bits to remove the seat securing screws and please follow strict static electricity precautions when removing the seat to avoid accidentally triggering the airbag.

You might need to have the airbag light reset too.

As to changing the gearstick, cut offthe metal crimp that holds the gaitet on and then either use another new one or a cable tie (won't be as secure though).

Cheers

Cheers Mike
From seeing you at work when you fitted my cruise control i understand what you mean with the static control.
As regards to the gear stick it came complete with the gaitor so i think it would be a straight swap for my old one does it simple unscrew once i release the gaitor.

Thanks again for the advice Mike.

Bloody weather was all set to change the seats and gear stick plus a few other tweeks.
It didnt stop raining till dinner time then never dried up so couldnt really do the anti static thing.
So hopefully it,ll stay dry long enough next weekend so i can fit the things.
