Cheap fixes for worn greenish steering wheel

HI my Pine Green A2 has a greeny-brown steering wheel thats worn through in a few areas. Has anyone done a cheap fix on these that works with leather paint? Alternativley anyone got any picks of ones with decent looking wheel covers on or even a black wheel in that green/beige interior colour way? (balck wheels are cheap enough).

The car is never going to look showroom fresh again as there are too many other worn areas, but a bit of a uplift might be nice.

The colour of your steering wheel is known as "jive" which may help with a search for a colour dye or a replacement wheel. ?

Guess who has a jive sport steering wheel in nice condition?

Morning Simon,

If you aren’t going to fit the Jive Sport Steering Wheel, I’d possibly like to buy it back please.

I don’t see me getting the Tiptronic Steering Wheel to act as a MFSW in the foreseeable future.

Therefore I might as well remove it and refit the original steering wheel.

Let me know your thought and price sir.

Kind regards,

Tom

Morning Tom,

You'd be more than welcome, sir. I think cost would be about right, but how do we arrange transport?

Kind regards

Simon

Evening Simon,

Yes £50 is what you paid and I’d gladly take it back for the same price. I’ll sort logistics out after the lockdown when safe to get to you. I have family in Carterton who we ‘normally’ visits every month or 2. They’re only about 40 minutes from you.

Kind regards

Tom

If it helps I can pick up and bring with me when ‘operation R-NSE’ hopefully commences post lockdown and intercooler change Tom?

Evening Erling,

That’s very generous of you sir. Looking forward to getting the Dremel out again once we’re allowed to mingle again.

I’ll let you know once I’ve paid Simon and let you arrange collection. Are you sure this is not too far out of your way.

Kind regards,

Tom

Good morning Tom,

The steering wheel is yours, sir. If Erling can pick up, that would be great, or I can drop it over to Carterton.
