CIGI LIGHTER STUCK

Hi guys

I'm a non smoker but wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem - my cigar lighter (next to handbrake) has stuck down in on position and refuses to eject - there doesn't appear to be any power going to the unit and it never gets hot.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I'd rather have a 12V dc out

I think your cigar lighter is broken. I had the same problem and had it fixed under warranty.

It obviously is knackered, but if you feel like doing a bit of a DIY fixing job, then have a look at the 'Front Centre Tray' Fitting Guide on the guides page of the club site (http://www.audi-a2.co.uk/guides.htm).

You'll see there detailed instructions for removing the handbrake surround and lighter fixing. You should then be able to order the appropriate new parts from Martyn and fit them yourself...should save a few bob on labour charges from Audi!
