Climate Control Blowing Hot Constant


After getting my car serviced, the climate control blows red hot air constantly, no matter which temp setting I have it on.
Is there any disconnecting of anything involved in servicing these cars?

Hi Tony
I can't think of anything related to a service which would cause the aircon to blow hot all the time. Since the problem coincided with the service, is there any chance the garage would do a free diagnostic scan to find out what's gone wrong

Well Spike, after using the car again yesterday, the problem has seemed to have gone away??
Works fine on cold and hot??
I'll keep an eye on it.... :)

This is similar to ONE of the many problems I am having (see big fight) I have been told in the air con control unit there is a flap that moves electronically to adjust the temp (Like the old fashioned manual slider) and it sticks like yours mine comes and goes Clocked a replacement unit on ebay for £69.00
 
Hi there,
I've had this also. It's happened four times in two years. On every occasion it has been fine the next day but I've never found a way to reset it on the same day. Resorted to turning the a/c completely off. Luckily not yet occurred on a long journey. Tick...tock...tick...tock...
