I think cabin temp has priority and the fan speed will increase to maintain the set temp if required. Try changing the temp setting to see if the fan speed changes.

sunlight sensor makes a difference, but the interior temperature sensor has an almost immediate effect on the climate control unit. That sensor is 'blown' by a small fan which sucks air from ambient surroundings (it is behind the little opening at the top of the climate control unit). When mine's fan was somehow 'lost' my climate control would not increase speed even though the cabin was warm. So may be yours is affected in another way?

it will increase speed to attain the temperature you set.

Starts at 1. Temp set to 25.
As the engine warms, the amount of air pushed into the cabin will increase, to try and get to the set "25".

If you want a constant temperature, hit AUTO.

The only way to ensure a constant flow is to let the engine get warm and then regulate personally, or the system will always interpret what you want.

Set a temp. hit auto, forget it.
