Hi,
These prices are based on you sending me your unit for refurbishment. However for an £25 deposit I can send you a refurbed unit and then once I receive your unrestored unit return of post the deposit is refunded.

Hi James @jp.oog ,if I sent my unit for refurb instead of you sending one for exchange, what would be the turn around time? Just so I can decide what to do when I reach the top of the list.

Regards, Mark

Hi Mark,

Here are the pics of the last steps.
My first thought was to use a plain matte black, but I read several forums, sites and story and finally decided to invest to a Tamiya TS-6 matte black spray. 20220627_150847.jpg

It worked well, after 3 layers it was easy to remove the masking stickers, the colour is matching and the surface is nice and smooth.

The border of the painted and non-painted areas is clear and definite.

The result speaks for themself.

Look like an exciting challenge. Where did you get the pictograms from and are they still available?

Evening Simon and Mac,

I’m not on Facebook and have no current desire to join, if either of you are considering purchasing a set of these pictograms could you let me know the price and if you’d be willing to add an additional set to your order for me, then send them down to Coalville.

Kind regards,

Tom
