Codes,, umm another question please.

As a follow on from a few previous questions/threads about codes etc.

I have just ordered a new A2 1.4tdi Sport and was wondering what various options on the alarm system etc that I can have reprogrammed before I pick the car up.

I did see a thread, about the door locking options, once the car has started but is there a thread or official listing of all the possible permations that are available, not just with the alarm but with the car in general.

Maybe some of the more seasoned owners might be willing to share their wisdom.

Being quite new to this I didn't know you could have the settings changed... but from what has been writen in this forum I have missed a trick and would like to know more..

These options are listed as an example in SSP240:
- "selektive Zentralverriegelung" (I guess this is the option that when pressing the unlock button on the key it only unlocks the drivers door and that you need to press it a second time to unlock the other doors; I remember having read something like that in the manual)
- lock boot door when driving
- lock all doors when driving

But there must be some more options:
- language DIS
- units DIS ( mpg vs. l/100 km)

And of course there are the options that tell the onbard computer which options the car has: aircon (needed for controlling the heated mirrors!), tank size, availability of alarm, ...
But it doesn't make much sense to change these ...

All options are listed in the "Reperaturleitfaden" (repair guide) which is only available for dealers (though I've seen one for repairing the A2 aircon on ebay).
