Comfort blinker

Having spent the past 3 weeks and 2500 miles driving a Seat with this facility i suddenly realised just how useful it is today.... will be ordering mine tonight!

Its funny when you have it and get into a car that doesn't you think how annoying, My boss has got a NEW BMW X3 and this doen't have it how poor ;)

Exactly! although having now also researched some of the other threads I have double-din dash which doesn't seem to make this a particularly easy DIY project.... think I might be asking Mike if he can fit this when he services my car next week if I can source the part in time.....

I have a double DIN system, it's not that difficult, radio and heater controls out. Simple fit then really.

I'd reckon it would be easier with the double-din dash as there'd be more room to manoeuvre.

Yes, that's the one! There is one thing that I am slightly apprehensive about, though .... That is the number of direction flashes before it auto cancels. It doesn't seem to be on for more than 2/3 flashes. (I should drive behind my own car to see for myself!) Anyway, if it was adjustable, then I'd definitely give it a few more flashes before it cancels. Maybe it is faulty?

Hi david i think thats the correct flashes ie 3 certainly thats what the factory cars i have driven with this feature any longer and you click it on to normal self cancel. I have this same unit but yet to fit it.
nice feature cheers mike

Tried to fit mine the other cubby box came out fine day but couldn't get the existing relay to move. Am I doing something wrong?

Tip; no point for non-original stuff when you may purchase VAG original. Kit costs 45euro retail.
