Hi all
Tried both these numbers for A2 cars with out success 01908 824400 no line and 01908 806737 rings six times then cuts off.
Webs site on google suspended and no response from the email I sent through Approved garages?

If any one can provide some contact numbers that would be great?

I do remember at about this time last year Tony shut completely for three weeks to take annual holiday, maybe the same this year, strange there is no automatic message to state this. Odd the website is suspended but their Facebook page is still up. Can only suggest to use email and see if it bounces back with something like 'Out of office for...'

Have you got an email address, land line or mob number please? im not on facebook

Email:[email protected]
Telephone: Number in your first post matches Facebook
Messenger: I am not on Facebook either, but if you Google search 'a2cars Facebook' you get a link. Simply kill the repeated invitatations to join and you can still navigate the pages. There is a messenger link on the right of the home page.

What work do you want doing?

If no joy with A2 cars you could use our other a2 specialist WOM, or if that's too far you are not too far from Steve Birchall who uses a trusted mechanic - PM him for info.

A2 Cars company status according to the Companies House website is "active proposal to strike off" and they are shown as having a "confirmation statement" overdue since 21st October 2017. I emailed and left messages well before Christmas but no responses received.

I contacted them also before xmas for general info but go no response? Thought they`d closed for xmas tried an email to [email protected] but that bounced back too.
Odd that a business as popular as A2 cars dosnt have its own website and odd there are no general contact details on line for them either
Will try facebook route any other ideas on how to contact them would help too

By law a company must file a "confirmation statement" annually, even if nothing has changed since the last filling. Failure to do so would result in the process for the company to be struck off the register to start up. If no-one responds to the letters from Companies House and no other party objects, e.g. a creditor, the company will be disolved automatically and any assets become property of the state.

A2 cars used to have a web site but it looks like the hosting company has suspended the account.

https://web.archive.org/web/20171002224640/http://www.a2cars.com/

Although the above could be an administrative error, the company may have ceased traiding or circomstances have arrisen which prevent the normal operation of the company from occuring in a timely fashion.

Either way, not a good situation.

It would be a shame if they have ceased trading as for example they were the only independant workshop offering an Open Sky repair service to my knowledge.

..........any other ideas on how to contact them would help too

Starting to look they have folded. If you are desperate to contact them I would simply ring up the businesses next door and ask if they are still trading. Search on google maps for A2Cars, zoom in to max to see the business names. In fact the
Unit 2 doors down from A2Cars appears to be the managing agents/landlords of the the entire block of which one unit is A2Cars. Also A2Cars was a source of customers for the cafe behind, ask, they would know.

The website has been down for a long time, I was surprised when it didn’t work some 3 months ago

Hi guys

Yes it would be great shame if they`ve gone under however a lot of small companies do go bust then start up again, when I spoke to Tony early last year he didnt seem the kind of guy to just roll over so my guess is will probably set up again under a new name maybe.

I sure hope so as I too have OSS in need of attention.

Im in MK at the weekend, Ill pop round and find out whats what.

My A2 needs a service and perhaps some work doing. Only to find the same thing, that a2cars isn't reachable any more.

I have a mobile number for Tony from the first (and perhaps now last) time I visited and have tried it a couple of times today, it comes up as engaged each time.

I'll watch for developments, particular if Gritty can swing by.

I would say WOM Automotive are closer to yourselves in Staffordshire...

Yes, there is, and your knowledgeable services would be a huge benefit to members and geographically spot on?

Hi All.
Having recently spoken to Tony, I'm glad to report that A2cars is still in good health. Unfortunately though, Tony is not. He's recovering from a head injury that some of you may have seen if you attended Audi in the park.
The business is also moving, so it looks like he's taking the opportunity to converless whilst the move to bigger premises happens.
He didn't go into details of lead times and apologises for the website being down. Typically, he's more focused on the cars than the business.
He's suggested that anyone who wants to contact him do so via [email protected]. He will notify his customers when the business has relocated and he's back to full steam.
FYI. I'm not affiliated to A2cars. Just a concerned customer and friend of Tony's. As I am too to this club and all its members.
I'm sure the club would wish to see his business succeed and continue to be a vital resource for non technical owners such as myself.

Just to add I had my car serviced with Tony in late November 2017 and the business was being cleared out for the move to new premises in the New Year. Tony did a great job (as usual) and turned down my request to return in December as he had too much work on and needed to rebuild 4 A2s. Even that day he had plenty of work with other VAG cars. As mentioned he has been unwell and was due to close a week before Christmas and open around 2 weeks into the New Year. He texted me today to say that the new garage is not open as he's still on sick leave but hopes to be back in a few weeks and will advise. I wish him a speedy recovery and good health.
