Copilot Light

For years I have had a BMW with an accessory I bought from the main dealer which is built to a standard far beyond its price. Its called a Copilot lamp with a flexible mount which plugs in to the cigaratte power supply. It is made by Osram so looks like a Audi/BMW OE part and built to same standard. I now have this fitted to the A2 in the centre power supply and angled next to the handbrake. In answer to the person who asks, no you don't mistakenly grab the light when going for the handbrake!! The second question is undoubtedly, why another light? Well this shines like no other and you can point in those dark footwells whilst you hoover, or read a map without distracting the driver. Bad news is I searched for a new one for ages - for my other car and could only find in US. However I found recently being sold by BMW specialist garage in Hessle East Yorkshire - you could of course try your BMW main dealer. If you want to see pic look here. http://www.aedwis.com/lighting.html

I think this will answer the many questions I have seen on what to do with the 12volt outlet when owned by non smokers.

Good stuff. Had one for years and it is in my Shuttlecraft. Great for lighting the floor box (at night) obviously. Mine has been in constant (sorry continual) use. if it were constant the bulb would have blown. Sorry for pedantry - it is that time of year again!
