corner of door bought from eBay bent in transit

Is this fixable is my question?

Good old paisley freight delivered a day late (today) after saying they had delivered yesterday and i got this.

Worth trying to fix or is this scrap? Seller had been good throughout and doesn't look to have been bent before it was sent.

I’ve managed to bend metal on a ledge back into place with a block of wood and a hammer but there was always a definite ripple in the paint.

I warmed it thoroughly so the paint didn’t shatter and it was a lump of really soft wood - or I could have used a rubber block I suppose.

You seem a perfectionist so I’m not sure it’ll be good enough but what’s the harm in trying?

Ask the seller if he’s cool with you giving it a go or he’d rather pay the return costs and refund and fight the courier.

Yup I would have a go but afraid that if I do I'll be left with paying for a scrap door.

Really annoying as the door looked good apart from the corner
