Correct Wiper Blade

Tom, that would be excellent. I can get an AP30U from our local GSF tomorrow, so a fitting guide would be very handy!
Thanks so much!
Hi Ken,

Drop me a PM with your mobile number and I’ll send you a short clip in the next 90 minutes when I’m home Sir.

Kind regards,

Tom

I've always fitted AP28U to Ethel....maybe I've been fitting the wrong size 🤔

Evening Dave,

The Bosch AP30U Aerotwin Blade is most definetly the correct item for a later generation A2 or an earlier A2 with the later style wiper arm of course.

Hopefully from the below picture, after 4 days of commuting will show you the coverage of the 750mm blade:

You should be able to make out the less cleaner area of the windscreen.

This is the item I purchased a few days ago from Amazon:

I thought it might be at home by now but it’s still in transit:

I’ll get a video clip to Ken @Ken Long by removing and refitting the old blade as it’ll probably be too dark when the new blade arrives

Here’s a quick clip showing how easy a task removing the blade is. This is for the later style blade:

Kind regards,

Tom

Thanks Tom. I've just had a go with the old blade. That has to be the easiest wiper to change I've ever come across!

Hello again,

You’ve got to love Amazon’s packaging department:

Hello Ken,

Yes this is the very same blade I use on my later style wiper arm.

To remove the blade just stand the wiper arm up the swivel the blade so it’s a a right angle to the arm. It will then just slide off.

Be very careful and ensure the arm is fixed in the upright position before letting go as it could snap back down and damage the screen.

The blade should easily be removed in a few seconds.

I actually have a new blade waiting for me at home so happy to video the process when I get it this evening to send to you.

Kind regards,

Tom
A video would be lovely if you don’t mind! 😮
