I have started getting a rubbing nosise from my front right disk.
I must admit I know b****r all about mancanics and was a bit worried if it was a serious problem. I went into Huntingdon audi to see if someone could have a quick look to make sure it was safe to drive.
I went in my uniform. I work for tesco, I think they thought I was bringing the tone down
Well they told me no one could look at it and I would have to book it in.
I went to the local ford dealer which I used when I had my focus. They were more than happy to look at it for me. As it happens the disks have worn a bit but nothing that is a prob. The grinding is because the car has not done many miles and coroded up a bit. It did not take them a minute put my mind at rest and did not charge me a cent.
I guess audi were hoping to get me to book it in and get me to pay for 30 mins labour for a minutes job
The second experience was from a mate of mine. He went into Huntingdon audi sales. He drives for a living is on the look out for a A6 or A8. He did not go in his suit as not working and the sales man was not interested. He asked to test drive a car and the salesman to him that they have had is sort in before and would not give him one.
They must be doing very well as they did not seem to want his £35k he is looking to spend.
Well he will be spending his money else where.
