Hello All,

I know this topic's been talked about quite a lot in the past but it seems there's no definitive answer as to how one can fit cruise control.

In the past I've seen quite a few posts along the lines of "just buy a new stalk and enable it in the CANBUS, simple as that".

So as previously suggested I went to Martyn at VAG parts and bought the stalk. I then took it into a garage to have it fitted. The guy there said there's no connector or loom for it to be connected to?? It's a good garage and generally know what they're talking about since they do a lot of work for the local Audi dealership. In fact if anyone's interested they managed to fit front fog lights to mine which I was told isn't possible (only factory fitted option).

If anyone can help I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks,

Steve

It all depends on when your A2 has been built, the newer ones apparently only have to be enabled when the stalk has been built in, older models need to have some wiring added...

Thanks for the post. I bought mine last March, it's a 1.6 FSI Sport, 03 number plate. Would you know if that's new enough?

Cheers

I think that should be new enough...

Bye, Frido.
