Cubby Hole panel to house Blue Tooth unit and Aux 12V socket

Hi,
I changed the stereo head unit on my 1.4TDI (was a concert 1 and I can't think when I last used a cassette !!!) for a Kenwood which I already had, the Kenwood is a Radio/CD unit with Aux in and luckily as a red backlit display so looks at home in the A2's dashboard.
The head unit fitted easily but the facia is not as wide as the Concerts, so I 3D printed a couple of black infill panels to clip into the space left at either end of the Kenwood.

I then wanted somewhere to place my mobile phone, the cubby hole is the natural home, but then I have to have a headphone cable from the phone to the kenwood and another charge cable from the phone to the Aux socket next to the hand break - for me this was simply too many cables cluttering up the car.
So I designed and 3D printed a facia panel to fit into the cubby hole. The facia would house another Aux Power connector, a BlueTooth circuit board and on/off switch and the controls for the BT board, plus a space to hold the phone / fit a phone dock.
The BT Board is a really nice unit that allows two phones to be paired to it, runs off 12 volts and outputs via 3.5mm jack to the Kenwood, it also as a microphone which allows hands free operation when taking a phone call and three buttons to play the previous / next tracks of music and play/pause music. When music is playing and a phone call comes in pressing the play button accepts the call, pauses the music and routes the phone call through the car speakers - all in all very good value for £7

Attached are some pics of the facia panel, I will attach a few more of it installed in the car and also with the iphone dock which is great if you are using satnav on the phone

The output from the BT board is routed through a small hole in the top RH back corner of the cubby hole, up to the back of the Kenwood, then along the RH side and exits through the 3D printed infill panel. The Aux In connector on the Kenwood is next to where the cable exits so it fits permanently in the Aux In connector on the Kenwood front panel.

Not that great a view on picture 5, but the microphone and the 3 control buttons can just be viewed on the right hand side
