well im quick pleased as the way the 3 pot wonder sounds but has anyone fitted a whole " from turbo back exhaust system" and if so what did it sound like ?

Don’t buy the darkside one as it doesn’t fit the A2 even though they say it does. Completely wrong angle and fouls everything!
I’ve got a complete stainless system from longlife and it’s awesome, nothing noisy but had a slight ‘note’ to it

Actually, bearing in mind how tight the turbo is by the bulkhead (based on what my mechanic said when they were replacing it last November), that isn't entirely surprising - thank you for the heads-up. I've got no doubt that they (and many other places) would be able to make something to fit that would be suitable but clearly not off the shelf in this instance.

Infinity have been highly regarded by a good few on here over a considerable period. When I need a new exhaust for my AUA petrol, it would be my first port of call.

PS Just noticed, there is a note about them on the "today I" thread/

You're welcome!

I went into Infinity last week for what I thought would be a full stainless system, turned out only that I only needed the flexi as the rest of the original exhaust was absolutely perfect condition.

They could of just sold it to me as I was kinda looking forward to a full system

They have some serious cars visiting them for work (not the one in the photo!)

Regarding the TDI75 In my mind i am thinking that some weld on flanges with a flexi to suit and some modern tyre round clamps.
The exhaust would need removal and welding but the benefit would mean it could be assembled and offered up loose and tightened in situ for a perfect fit!
Should the flexi ever fail again replacement would be easy and cheap!
I will try to find if the parts exist for this idea but feel free to chip in if you have any idea what i am thinking lol!!
