Just had my local Dent Devils guy out this morning to sort out a very minor ding on the boot panel, just to the left of the Audi four rings badge.

I must say he done an excellent job and it is 100% perfect!



He removed the rear inside boot panel with some special tools, stuck a suction cup tool to the panel and used some sort of yellow guage with black lines running across to aid correction of the ding.
He used a special masaging tool with a rubber tip for use on aluminium, as he said you can not use a basic steel or aluminium rod on aluminium panels.

So if anyone is in the cambs area and need any minor dings repairing, PM me and i will pass his details on. He has been doing this job for 11 years too, so knows his stuff.
 
Aside from tents, are they able to solve my broken glass trapped in driver side door problem??? Perhaps they have different tools that might get in there to clean the broken glass away?
 
hmm sounds interesting, i have a minor dings on my drivers door and boot panel, i was thinking of popping into my local audi... but that could be ££, are his prices competitive?

Errrrrrr, the price.............. £75.
But worth every penny. Everytime i walked upto the car it was there right in my face :( . The car is now perfect bodywise.


I think you would be looking at about £125 for both dings to be corrected. I am sure you could get this done cheaper elseware, but i would pay extra for someone who has been doing this for a few years rather than a newbie whacking a steel rod on your panels :D

I think you need to start a thread on a "different" type of forum for that kind of thing... Although you never know so why not give them a shout?
