My wife and I share a 1.6 FSI which we find great to look at and to drive. However, the clutch pedal seems to be made of some plastic material and is shaped in an arch so that the toe of my size 11 foot gets stuck in the upper part. Also the pressure needed to press the clutch is quite high and the size of the pad quite small which can be painful on the sole. I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem and whether the spring pressure can be reduced and/or a larger pad fitted to the pedal? My remedy at the moment is to place my foot sideways. Our A4 clutch pedal is perfect.
