Door actuator replacement.

My 2003 1.6FSI needs a replacement NSR actuator for the door. Tried to source from EBay which resulted in being sent a non-working part from a breaker. Any suggestions on where to source a quality replacement. No longer available new (apparently). Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the check strap that stops the door opening all the way. One of our members makes refurbished versions using brass rolers instead of the plastic ones on the audi part https://www.a2oc.net/community/index.php?threads/depronman-services.42108/

Thanks for such a prompt reply. No it’s (apparently) a part that fits inside the door that ‘actuated’ the lock via electrical supply.
that’s how I have had it explained.
