Door lock

Hi All. Thanks to the help on here I managed to get replacement doors in the same colour. I just fitted the drivers door, but forgot all about the lock. I want to take the undamaged lock from the old door and pop it into the new door. I have the diagram but its really not clear. Is this an easy job and do I need the keys for the door I bought in order the get the lock out?

The removal process is detailed here:

It mentions using the key to remove the lock but this is simply to allow you to withdraw it from the handle, so any key should do. If yours doesn't fit then you could probably use a pair of fine pliers to grip the barrel instead.
