Good point.
sonetimes the hinge bolts can become loose too.
But if all the door gaps are as they should be ( I believe that you said they were) adjusting the hinges or striker plate will affect the gaps.
The gap on my passenger door at point A is less than 2mm and catching the passenger door when opening . Is it the hinge blots on the chassis or the car that need to be loosened the red arrows are that need loosening and moving to increase the gap?
