Doors armrests

Despite I pride myself to always know which cleaning product to use I have been struggling to find the best product/ method to clean the doors' armrests plastic. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance...

One of the best things for interiors I've found is baby wipes, or ideally makeup remover wipes. Sounds silly, and I didn't believe it either at first, but I extracted huge amounts of grime from my steering wheel / dashboard that you would never have known was there, with a packet of them. I use them every time now, instead of expensive cleaners!

Sounds good....shouldn't be too difficult to subtract some make-up remover wipes from my wife's bag ;)

Just a suggestion ..... why don't you remove the armrests and cover them with a soft supple leather? It is fairly easy to do .... very pleasant effect afterwards ...

Best stuff to use for all plastics is Aerospace 303! You can use it on all plastics interior or exterior and is great in engine bay. If you ask most of the top detailers they'll either be using it or will rercommend it. I've used it for about 13 years now!

i have just bought a £7 bottle of aerospace 303 and have to say im very dissapointed unless im doing something wrong i have tried it on the outside window rubbers and they are just smearing???

Have used it for a while now and use it regularly and valet a couple of A2's on a frequent basis, never have a problem, also a lot of the top detailers use it as well. Use it with a microfiber cloth and spray the cloth if your only using it on small areas like window rubbers.

I've always had great results with Autoglym bumper care - very good on rubber as well as plastic, although some plastics comes up better than others.
I use bumper care on the rubber window surrounds and any plastic parts prior to polishing, as it stop the polish making marks on the rubber. YMMV.

I'll keep a look out for 303 - it's good to try new stuff
